DESIGN REVIEW / WORKING PERSONAS

Built around
real tasks.

Eight working personas guide the site. These are role assumptions for review with Matt, not claims of customer interviews.

Site manager

Task: Arrange cover for an entrance or construction site

Needs: Hours, entry points, officer duties, coverage confirmation and an agreed start.

Journey: Services → Manned guarding → Contact

Pass condition: Reach a relevant service and prepare a site brief without knowing security terminology.

Facilities manager

Task: Review security for a workplace or several sites

Needs: Understand how services work together, existing equipment and responsibilities.

Journey: Services → Compare options → CCTV / access control

Pass condition: Compare services and carry the selected requirement into the enquiry.

Business owner

Task: Find practical cover for unoccupied premises

Needs: Plain language, visible contact details and a scope discussion before price.

Journey: Home → Patrols / keyholding → Contact

Pass condition: Distinguish patrols, monitoring and keyholding without assuming they are bundled.

Urgent visitor or existing customer

Task: Reach a person about a concern

Needs: A phone route visible immediately on mobile. Emergency services remain separate.

Journey: Header telephone → Harrison

Pass condition: Find the telephone without scrolling. No unverified response-time or round-the-clock promise.

Procurement or referral visitor

Task: Check whether Harrison fits their requirements

Needs: Real business facts, public contact details, evidence for any accreditations or references.

Journey: About → Service detail → Contact

Pass condition: Find company information without encountering invented credentials or testimonials.

Matt, business owner

Task: Approve and maintain an accurate commercial website

Needs: Confirm coverage, operating hours, imagery rights, company details and commercial terms.

Journey: Proposal → Scope / launch checklist

Pass condition: See what is included, what needs approval and who handles future changes. No invented CMS.

Harrison office colleague

Task: Turn a website enquiry into an informed conversation

Needs: A readable requirement, postcode, timing, chosen service and contact method.

Journey: Prepared brief → Review → Agreed service

Pass condition: Human-readable service names and useful context, with no access codes in the enquiry.

Hamish and Mary, Towpath support

Task: Launch, monitor and support the customer site

Needs: Stable content, redirect map, privacy/enquiry sign-off, ownership and support boundaries.

Journey: Source → Checks → Launch → Search Console

Pass condition: No lost URLs, broken contact route or staging pages accidentally indexed.

What still needs confirmation

Service geography, operating hours, response terms, current legal company details, qualifications and permissions for imagery or customer references.

The monthly care journey

Hamish and Mary review site health and Search Console, make routine agreed changes, record verification and give Matt one monthly summary of numbers, work completed and the next priorities.
